Wood Crates

Basic wood crates come in two standard styles, These are plywood base and 2X lumber base. Plywood base crates are for lighter items with evenly distributed weight. Crates with a 2X base are typically for heavier duty jobs, industrial applications, stone slabs, cabinetry, or anything that might have a high relative weight with uneven distribution in the crate.

Both styles come with 4x4 feet or skids that allow 3 1/2" forklift or pallet jack access. We can attach the feet in such a way as to allow fork access from both sides of your crate as well. Smaller crates can be fitted with 2x2 skids or no skids to meet your needs.

All our crates can be custom fitted with Styrofoam to protect your cargo from rubbing against the wood. In this case, we typically add two inches to the inside dimensions for one inch of foam all around your item.

In cases where your item has odd angles or voids, we can custom fit foam to protect your items and provide blocking to hold everything in place using our in house CNC machines.
